Eventa® was founded in October 2013 to provide unique consultancy services to State Medicaid Programs, Managed Care Organizations, Hospital Systems, and manufacturers seeking a focus on High Acuity Respiratory Care in the post-acute arena.
Our mission is to modernize long-term respiratory care, partnering across the health care continuum with providers, government agencies, health plans, and technology manufacturers.
Eventa provides nationally-recognized clinical and business advisory services to our clients through a multidisciplinary team. We bring decades of clinical knowledge, practical experience, innovation, and creative thinking, to ensure that all medically complex patients we encounter are provided the opportunity to reach their maximum potential at the appropriate care setting.
For government payers, Eventa performs an initial analysis of current quality of care, grounded in evidence-based criteria. After a baseline of performance is determined, coverage criteria for various levels of care are developed.
Eventa works with government payers to establish program guidelines, quality metrics, key performance indicators, and a method of measuring ongoing performance improvement. With this data, Eventa can develop value-based, pay-for-performance purchasing models, which demonstrate improvement in quality metrics, as well as reductions in utilization and overall cost of care. Eventa can help government payers achieve:
- Improved quality of care
- Improved quality of life for care recipients
- Decreases in unnecessary utilization
- Elimination of potential fraud and abuse
- Dramatic reduction in cost of care

For Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), Eventa provides oversight and utilization management focused on the high-cost ventilator and tracheostomized population. In our prior role as the “hands on" provider, we developed our outcomes-driven protocols in real-world scenarios. As a partner in utilization management, it is our role to assure that the payer is receiving the best value for the services they purchase, and to ensure that they are not paying high rates for “warehouses” that provide only custodial care.
Eventa provides delegated utilization management services, both in facilities and in member homes, for multiple insurance providers, along with clinical direction and support throughout the care continuum. Eventa assists MCOs in building network relationships, and determining which vendors meet requirements for quality and value based care. Our work with MCO clients has produced exceptional results.
For providers such as Skilled Nursing Facilities, Hospital Systems, and Durable Medical Equipment operators, Eventa offers extensive expertise in program development, payer relations, and reimbursement methodology.
Long Term Care (LTC) provides a new market for those in the technology arena. Introducing viable products into this market space requires extensive knowledge of the LTC industry. Eventa can assist technology vendors and equipment manufacturers in developing stratagies to introduce new technology products into the LTC segment.
